General Directions;
1) All patterns are all ready reversed. Print the pattern sheet at 100%. Trace appliqué pieces onto fusible web following directions for the fusible product you are using. Add ¼" seam allowance to all pieces that come to the edge of the block.
2) Edge stitching can be done with blanket stitch by hand or machine, or satin stitched.
*Note: When satin stitching I hold the beginning thread in front of the needle
for 5 or 6 stitches to secure it in place. Trim and continue stitching. At the end of the line of stitching I trim the end of the thread to about ¼" if it will be covered by another appliqué, or pull it to the back if no more appliqué pieces will cover it.
3) Small details like eye pupils, smile, writing, etc. can be added with fabric markers. Some of these details can be machines stitched.
